Reflection Journal for Logo Project

 In this project I first created logos and then I created business cards with them. The objective of the lab was to use the creativity from our minds and create good looking logos that describe us. To do this lab, I used photoshop to create the logos, by using selection tool and a little help from the grid view and used the brush tool to select and color the logos. Afterwards, I used Adobe InDesign to create the business cards. I used 3 different logos with 3 different layouts which resulted in 9 different business cards.

To create those business cards I used different font styling and sizes, and different locations to put different information on that is needed for the card. In order to do this project I used the software's:  Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. This project is relevant to web design because it's relevant to design. This project lets your creativity flow, and that's mainly, what design is. If I ever need a business card for a business or any other reason, I most likely make the best of this learning experience and use this information to the best of my knowledge in the future.

Reflection Journal for Lab 3

    For Lab 3, we copied images of a car and we changed it so it to have different effects. Each one of four had different effects. For example, changed Hue, saturation, replaced color, and black & white. The objective of the lab was most likely to get familiar with the Photoshop software by using effects that is provided by it. So the next time we know what hue, does or what saturation does. Not only do we know what effects are what but we also know how to apply a certain effect on the image. I did this project by using different tools in Photoshop and by using different effects on the car images. The software I used is called Photoshop. This is relevant to web design because it gets you to be more familiar with tools and effects in Photoshop. Windows 10 vs Mac Sierra

             There are many differences between mac and windows. The main difference is the user interface. For example, In mac OS there is a dock and in windows there is the task bar. The two look very different in terms of design. Also, Most software are built to run on windows and so mac OS is limited to the software it can run but that doesn't mean mac cant do anything, It can, its just that some software don't run on mac OS. The user experience for the both are great and overall they are just operating systems. Not a big deal.
